How we went ALL IN

Like many great things, Stay-CON came together in the most unexpected way! None of us had met in person before—our bond had only ever existed in the digital world as STAY. But when we found out we’d all be attending the same concert, the idea of finally meeting up seemed like the perfect plan.

Soon enough, we realized we weren’t the only ones who wanted to hang out in person! Our online STAY-friends were just as eager to join in, and what started as a small meetup quickly blossomed into something much bigger. The more we talked, the more excited we got. The idea of making our gatherings not just fun, but meaningful, became clear—we had to do more than just meet up, we wanted to make a real impact.

Inspired by our favorite group, Stray Kids, we decided to focus our energy on supporting youth music education. And just like that, Stay-CON was born—an event where fandom, friendship, and giving back come together in harmony!

    How I Became A Stay: I listened to their music without knowing who they were before I became a Stay! Then, one day I actually watched a music video, and I asked the question every Stay asks at some point, "Who is that beautiful creature with the voice of a devil?!" From there, I fell down the rabbit hole!
    Favorite SKZ Song: Easy
    About Me: Music has been a constant companion throughout my life. Much like Stray Kids, I’ve never followed the typical path and have always embraced the chaotic, creative journey. I'm living my teenage dream with adult money, so it makes sense that I’d help create a non-profit built around SKZ! You’ll find me JJAMming out to my favorite tracks, daydreaming, losing at board/video games, or making questionable decisions in Dungeons & Dragons. My downtime’s mostly spent binge-watching everything from K-dramas to offbeat documentaries. Came for the creativity, STAYed for the chaos.

    How I Became A Stay: Through the Felix effect on TikTok. I was in the hospital recovering from a major surgery and was having a hard time, and wouldn't you know it, the angel was there for me. Unfortunately, I couldn't stop watching this guy (Hyunjin) dancing behind him. Don't worry Lixie, you'll always be my first!
    Favorite SKZ Song: It's a toss up between Quill Pen and Do It
    About me: I love to overshare but hate to write blurbs about myself. However, I'm going to give it a shot. I love music, I live and breathe it, if I'm not listening to it, I'm either singing, humming, or it's just playing in my head. I'm literally humming "My Universe" by Seungmin and I.N, feat Changbin as I type this. So combining my love of music, Stray Kids, and empowering children was a no brainer for me, and that's how we ended up here. In my free time, I like to write, paint, crochet, read, and watch movies. I love the ocean and space. I love sci-fi and fantasy. How the internet actually works confuses me. I have fallen up the stairs more times than I have fallen down them, but don't worry, I've definitely fallen down them. My favorite color is hot pink, and I've never been to Canada. Also, you will get the Lee Know Official Stay Greeting from me. ENFP

    About Me: I’ll talk to you all day, but writing about myself feels weird. I like to read. I play video games every chance I get. If it’s sci fi or fantasy based, count me in! I’m a total klutz, as in, flat surfaces and gravity are my mortal enemies. Sometimes walls and chairs get me too. If I could move anywhere, it’d be southern France, on a beach somewhere.
    As for the reason we’re all even here, well, I love music. I live & breathe it & even named one of my children after a musical term. If music isn’t actively playing in our house, it’s definitely running through somebody’s head. You don’t end up with kids who major in music composition and musical theater by accident. Stray Kids touched my heart through their music & I want to give that opportunity back to kids who may not have the support that I was able to give my own children.

    How I Became A Stay: Felix effect on Instagram! I saw the clip of God's Menu and immediately decided to find out more about SKZ. The rest is history.

    About me: I grew up in a family full of professional musicians, so music has always been an integral part of my life and was one of my first loves. SKZ entered my life just when I needed them the most and brought a community of lifelong friends along with them. I’m almost always working, but if I’m not, I’ll be with my husband building LEGOs, traveling, eating, gaming, watching anime, and camping. I also do pottery—because nothing says “inner peace” like aggressively shaping mud into a mug that may or may not successfully hold liquids. Basically, if it involves Stray Kids, creativity, chaos, or a passport stamp, I’m in.
